  2. Yes, some of them. But since I still have to read them I figured I might as well count them too! I didn't list all the books that I'm reading to them though because I couldn't remember them all. Off the top of my head: Robinson Crusoe, The Hobbit, Winnie-the-Pooh, Mother Goose, A Child's Garden of Verses, Now We Are Six and When We Were Very Young are all read alouds. My oldest daughter is reading many of the other selections independently so I thought I'd better read them too so I can keep up with the discussions. We're also doing the Chronicles of Narnia out loud, but I don't know if we'll get through them all this year with the kids so I'm going to read them on my own as well to finish the series.

  3. Hi, I was just over at your other blog, this blog is very cool! Love your reading list, we have lot's of these on our list also. I have been reading Jane Eyre and WOW, it is such an exceptional novel, I'm enthralled. We are finishing The Magic Pudding and then will be starting The Magicians Nephew...can't wait! Well better be off, I'll be back! xxx
